"Peter Pan" was my first Broadway musical, and is one of my favorite musicals besides "The Phantom of the Opera," "Annie," and "Oliver!" When I was six my family and I went to BlockBuster and got the VHS tape of "Peter Pan" my mom had asked me "Do you know a woman named Mary Martin played Peter Pan?" I had seen the Disney version, so a woman playing Peter was special. I liked Peter because he didn't grow up, and he could fly. I watched the Mary Martin version with my family. My Brother, Sister, Mom, Dad, and me. I LOVED it more than the Disney version. Though we lived out in rural New Mexico...

I know it might sound crazy, but I really do believe in Peter Pan. I love how he is so understanding about what it is like to feel lost. I hope that he will one day take me to Neverland too! I always feel lonely and it really hurts. The thing is, I'm only a teenager, and I am scared to grow up lost. What if the novel isn't really a work of fiction? What if it is a true story? I have dreams of this beautiful island, Neverland, and it feels like home! I have tried everything; leaving my window unlocked, talking out loud, singing, calling out. It never works!
