When she said your not aloud to like boys, i think she meant your not aloud to like boys from your SCHOOL! Or your not aloud to have a boyfriend or summat.. but i think she would be cool with you liking One Direction, 'cause its not likely that 1d will come walking down the street to buy clothes from H&M.... that's not even rare..
I'm pretty sure she just means you can't like a boy from your school or something like a boyfriend. And yes I know all us Directioners like 1D as husbands but I don't think she means you can't like a famous person. Yes I think you should tell her because I really don't think she would care honestly.
